Igor and I have worked together on board r/v Sakawe Surveyor offshore Namibia. Igor was and still is the Master of r/v S. Surveyor. Being a very experienced mariner and a knowledgeable hydrographer he has demonstrated an excellency and highest levels of professionalism in different applications of both the seamanship and hydrography. Certainly one of the rare and an outstanding cases when a seafarer clearly understands all the specifics of hydrographic and seismic survey: viewing ahead / sensing astern. In any areas and any weather he kept r/v Sakawe Surveyor and her crew (both marine and scientific) safe.
